I have used All My Sons Moving several times over the past year and have found them to be affordable, professional, courteous and extremely helpful. I have dealt with the owner, Mark, and he is very knowledgeable and professional on the phone. The drivers and movers went over and above the make sure I was happy and even rearranged the furniture several times for me and put my old furniture in the garage. In addition, they called me on the phone to let me know when they would arrive at my house, so I could leave work and meet them there. They arrived in my driveway at the same time that I did. I am a realtor, and I have even recommended them to my clients. I know of 2 clients who have used them. One was a local move and one was an out of state move. They were both happy with their moving experience and thanked me for recommending All My Sons to them. I would definitely use them again in the future.

This year’s “Top 10 Places to Live for 2011″ list from RelocateAmerica has been released, and Raleigh is nestled prominently at position #4, just behind Austin, Texas; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Boulder, Colorado. The list examines a variety of factors pertaining to an area to determine what city in the United States is the best to live in. Such areas as real estate & housing, local economy, recreation, and safety.

Of course, citizen opinions were taken into account as well, as the surveyors too to the streets to ask locals what they thought and what they liked/disliked. The heat has gotten so out of hand according to Oklahoma City officials, that the churches in the city are going to be transformed into refuges from the heat. Currently, there are 25 cooling centers which have been operating since June 15 in Oklahoma City public buildings like the libraries and select YMCA branches. However, it simply isn’t enough.

While capacity isn’t a problem, the convenience level could be raised. By having more facilities available, residents are likely to have an option nearby, thereby serving more of the community. The Oklahoma City movers are aware that the temperatures are dangerously hot, so we are glad the city is taking further steps to look towards preventing heat related illnesses. Remember to always keep water with you and stay hydrated–it is hot out there and your body needs it!

A recent study was released that ranked the top 650 schools in the United States. While the list was filled with the usual suspects (Princeton, Stanford) taking top honors, schools in Tennessee fared quite well also. The study, which examined several factors such as campus life, student debt, rate of success post-graduation, and other elements that determine the overall student satisfaction of an education, ranked Rhodes College at #75, Christian Brothers University at #602, and the University of Memphis at #639.
The Memphis movers are proud to report that Tennessee was quite present in the rankings, with popular schools such as Vanderbilt University in Nashville taking the #53 position, and Sewanee University, which placed at #57. The results were gathered with the help of the Washington, DC organization known as the Center for College Affordability and Productivity.
