Three tiger cubs were born at the Palm Beach Zoo back in May, and this Friday they will be out for their first meet and greet to the general public of zoo visitors. They will come out at 5:30 pm as part of the zoo’s Safari Night.

For those who are unable to attend the unveiling on Friday afternoon, you can check up on the cubs anytime you’d like from 10am-4pm daily at http://palmbeachzoo.org/tiger-cam.html. The Malayan cubs were born to mom Berapi and dad Rhimba, who were introduced with mating intention last November. The state of our country’s overall job market has definitely seen better days, however; Salt Lake City fares above average compared to the national average. In fact, Salt Lake is currently one of the better cities to call home in the US, particularly for young adults. With plenty of job opportunities available through both small and large local businesses, it is no wonder that the unemployment rate in SLC is considerably lower than most areas in the country. Jobs are also rather generous in the paycheck department; the average salary in Salt Lake City is over 50K. Young professionals on the move should definitely consider relocating to Salt Lake City a smart decision!

Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh has taken on a secondary role–one offering comfort and friendship between unemployed adult professionals. The Tuesday morning group meets once a week, a group that has grown exponentially over the past few years. When it first formed in 2008, 5 members were a part of the group, and now, at least 65 people show up each week–and there are over 340 members listed.

Usually, members are drawn to the group after the initial positivity fades, around 6 months into unemployment. Sadly, the meetings are comprised of middle aged Americans who should be at their financial prime–and rather than earning bonuses and taking hard earned vacations, they are whittling away at their savings.

The Raleigh movers know that times are tough. If you need comfort or a group of people to relate to, we encourage you to branch out and attend a meeting at White Memorial Presbyterian Church of Raleigh.

This week, the corporate staffing company Manpower will be hosting two separate job fairs to fill more than 200 customer service positions at their call center. The first fair is TODAY, from 4-7p.m. at the Manpower office on 1122 Oberlin Road in Raleigh. The second fair is Saturday, from 9:00am-noon at the same location.

Here at the Raleigh movers, we know that times are tough. Many residents in the Raleigh-Durham area are looking for work, so if you do attend the fair remember to put your best foot forward and truly sell Manpower on why you are the best candidate for the job.

As for previous experience, Manpower requests that applicants have 1-2 years of customer service experience and don’t forget a copy of your resume!

Right now, especially for people who suffer from asthma, Phoenix isn’t the best place to be unfortunately. Due to the recent dust storms in the area, even your Phoenix movers have had a tough time breathing. The gigantic dusty veils billowing over Phoenix contain allergens and monsoon mold which is bad news for everybody let alone asthmatics. It isn’t uncommon to see a rise in asthma symptoms this time of year, but the dust storms definitely intensify an already unpleasant situation. Your Arizona movers here in Phoenix are surely not alone in hoping the storms and quality of air change for the better, and soon!

A new study by Creative Cities International ranks Memphis as one of the cities in the USA with the strongest vital signs. Out of 35 U.S. cities, Memphis ranked at #18 based on a variety of factors such as educational levels, cost of living, housing, public transportation and resident input.

The Memphis movers are proud to say we fared better than other major U.S. cities such as Dallas, Denver, Portland, Houston, San Antonio, Miami, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas. The residents enthusiasm for a brighter and better Memphis was highly attributed to Memphis scoring well.
