Chalking one up for Denver is the Brookings Institute! The honorable mention was given to the Denver metropolitan area for the superb quality of public transportation in the area. Among other noted qualities, the large area of coverage and the short waiting periods public-transit-goers are subject to were praised as some of the best conditions in the country. Additionally; about half of the Denver area’s places of employment are reachable by way of public transit in 90 minutes or less! If you are looking to live somewhere new, and are a regular user of public transportation, moving to Denver is definitely worth considering! Not only are we known for quick public buses and trains, the beautiful Colorado city is also home to quick Denver movers as well!

A rather humorous alligator attack occurred recently in Gainesville. Fortunately, the attack wasn’t on a person or a pet of a Gainesville resident, but rather a police squad car! Exiting a local residence, the police officers happened upon the ten-foot gator which had its massive jaws clamped down on the front bumper of the squad car. The officers proceeded to drive the car in reverse to detach the alligator’s teeth from the bumper, but the gator wouldn’t move! Eventually the license plate bracket snapped which somehow caused the giant lizard to release the bumper from its mouth. The gator was soon-after removed from the property by animal control personnel. Your Gainesville mover here thinks that things would have transpired a bit differently had the alligator tried his luck with attacking a much tougher moving truck! Be forewarned, if you plan to move to Gainesville, alligators are known to inhabit the area –as well as many other areas in Florida– so proper precautions should always be taken to avoid a much more serious attack! Your mover is happy to report that, at least on this occasion, nobody was hurt.

Moving from Alaska, Bristol Palin and her son, Tripp, will soon be much more familiar of faces as the two will be under the spotlight in a yet-to-be-titled BIO network reality TV show. Bristol is a rather well-known name already, mainly as the daughter of former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin. Bristol’s television show will focus on her personal life as a single mother giving a closer look at the twenty-year-old semi-starlet. Bristol and her son will be moving to Los Angeles where the show will be taped, and she will be working with a small charity there. Though this will be the first televised look into Bristol’s and Tripp’s lives, the upcoming reality show will not be the first she has been a part of; Bristol Palin was also featured on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” and will actually be living with Kyle Massey –who she met and befriended on DWTS– and his brother Chris. The show is scheduled to air at the tail end of this year. The show is said to feature her long distance move to Los Angeles, which your Fort Lauderdale movers here are interested to see!

The city of Corpus Christi has received a federal grant which will ultimately improve the flow of traffic significantly! Data will be gathered from the majority of Corpus street intersections, which will be used to adjust traffic light intervals in order to reduce idling time vehicles spend as a result of red lights. This impending traffic efficiency enhancement is going to be a great change for all drivers in the Corpus Christi area, and especially for your professional movers! Everybody wins when these changes go into effect, everybody in Corpus Christi that is!

“Friends” favorite, Jennifer Aniston, is expected to be moving to New York very soon. The pop culture icon recently purchased a gorgeous penthouse apartment as well as a property on the floor below her top-level pad in the city. The move to NYC is rather fitting as many fans of the popular TV show, Friends, associate her and the rest of the gang with the downtown New York style surroundings Aniston will soon call home. Having moved celebrities in the past –Joan Rivers for example– your Connecticut movers here are hopeful that when her moving day is near, Jennifer will call on us to provide the relocation services which will be needed. Her new place looks lovely, complete with a private rooftop terrace and more than three thousand square feet of space to call her own; this may be the last move Jennifer Aniston plans for a long while.

If you are celebrating the recent completion of spring cleaning in your home, you’re not the only one! The Madeira Historical Society provided some spring cleaning assistance recently to the Miller House Museum. Part of the spring cleaning duties included the dusting off of a dining room set for which your Cincinnati professional movers provided relocation services! Three of our movers carefully delivered the furniture which was previously part of a historical home’s layout and was displayed at the Miller House Museum on April 17th. Always happy to get involved in the community, your reputable Cincinnati movers here were among several organizations that provided pro bono assistance to the museum’s renovations this year.

Some moves really do require outside assistance in the labor department. If you are looking to move, be it a local or long distance move, the need for professional relocation service providers should be obvious. Many moving companies in Charlotte run a rogue business. Hiring such a mover may result in a horrendous outcome. One common quality these non professional movers share is the baiting tactic they employ to gain your business; cheap rates. Cheap rates do not lead to an inexpensive move; they simply lead to a low quality experience that is sure to leave a sour taste in your mouth as well as a long lasting fear of residential moving. For your relocation you should consider only professional movers with well-trained employees on staff. Movers of this caliber work well together and have a highly-developed teamwork quality which means your move will be handled with care and precision. Professional movers pay their moving crews more than rogue movers pay their guys (many times they are day laborers off the street with no experience what so ever), so professional rates are definitely higher than non professionals. However; the quickness and quality of your move will result in an affordable and stress-free moving experience when all is said and done!

Long-time Chicago suburb resident, Sears Holdings Corporation, is reportedly considering relocation outside the state of Illinois. While your movers in Chicago here would be thrilled to provide any relocation services necessary for Sears to make the move happen, the state –and especially the local area of Chicago and its suburbs– stand to suffer negative effects should Sears’ decision to move out of Illinois become actual. Sears representative, Chris Brathwaite, has announced that discussions regarding the possible move have begun in Hoffman Estates, and that studies on possible impact the move would have on Chicago should Sears go forward have also begun. For now, we will wait and see…
